Children’s Health Ireland Jobs invites applications for a senior Dietitian to lead the Haematology Oncology nutrition service. The role requires CORU registration and five years post-qualification experience, including four consecutive years in paediatric Haematology Oncology.

A track record of clinical excellence is essential. You will deliver evidence-based nutrition care to children and young people, provide education, and lead the Dietetics team within CHI, contributing to audits and service

Qualifications

• Must be registered as a Dietitian with CORU.
• Five years post-qualification dietetic experience, including four consecutive years in paediatric Haematology Oncology.
• Proven record of clinical excellence in paediatric Haematology Oncology.
• Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to paediatric dietetics/Haematology Oncology.
• Experience in clinical audit, quality improvement, practice development, teaching and research.
• Leadership and professional ability for proper discharge of duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based, person-centred nutrition and dietetics services to Haematology Oncology.
• Provide nutrition education and support to children and young people in Haematology Oncology.
• Lead the Dietetics team within Haematology Oncology CHI.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to audits, education and service development.
