National Vehicle Distribution in Naas, County Kildare, Ireland, is hiring a fully qualified mechanic to lead a two-person team in chassis/frame replacements on light commercial vehicles. The role operates a three-day week from 07:00 to 19:30, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

You will work with diagnostic tools, workshop equipment and technical manuals, adhere to 5S/ISO standards, and help keep projects on time while maintaining high workmanship standards.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified mechanic (A must).
• Previous main dealer experience essential.
• Positive working attitude.
• Able to be the lead mechanic in a two-person team and assist colleagues.
• Able to work to deadlines.
• Strong hands-on skills in mechanical repairs, including dismantling, fitting and assembly of components.
• Experience with diagnostic tools, workshop equipment and technical manuals.
• Lean methodologies and process-driven environments are advantageous.
• Focus on safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Chassis / frame replacement skills.
• Full valid driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all technical, quality, health, safety and environmental processes, policies and ISO standards.
• Lead your team of two in performing chassis / frame replacements on light commercial vehicles.
• Work to the Standard Hours allocated to each job.
