Job summary

The Marine Institute seeks to lead an EU Horizon Europe action in support of the Mission to Restore Our Ocean and Waters. This senior role will drive regional lighthouse objectives, promote marine ecosystem protection and the development of a sustainable blue economy.

The post requires navigating EU funding programs, coordinating with national stakeholders and delivering impact across biodiversity, pollution prevention and carbon-neutral initiatives.

Qualifications

• EEA citizen eligibility (EU/EEA)
• UK citizen eligibility
• Swiss citizen eligibility under EU-Swiss agreement
• Non-EEA citizen with Stamp 4 or Stamp 5 visa for family

Responsibilities

• Lead an EU Horizon Europe action in support of the EU Mission ‘Restore our Ocean and Waters’ and drive lighthouse objectives.
• Coordinate with national and international partners to realise the Mission’s biodiversity, pollution prevention and carbon-neutral objectives.
