Brightwater Recruitment is seeking a Data Engineering Lead to shape a modern, cloud-native data platform on AWS in Dublin. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and own architecture, pipelines and data models to enable risk analytics and AI workflows.

The role combines hands-on development with architectural leadership in a greenfield environment, reporting to senior leadership and collaborating with actuarial and analytics teams.

Qualificações

• Experience leading data engineering in cloud-native environments.
• Proven ability to design scalable data platforms and architecture.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams including data science and platform engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Play a central role in design and evolution of the data platform.
• Lead core components: pipelines, data models and shared libraries.
• Set standards for data quality, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Design schemas and storage structures for multiple data layers.
• Translate requirements into robust, scalable implementations.
• Build ingestion/transformation pipelines across datasets and models.
• Develop reusable data access libraries for consistency.
• Maintain datasets supporting analytics and modelling workflows.
