Job summary

Methodius Ltd. is seeking an experienced Application Security Lead in Ireland to drive the rollout of Dynamic Application Security Testing across a large-scale enterprise. The role blends deep security expertise with programme leadership to embed automated testing across the software development lifecycle.

You will define standards, lead tool selection and CI/CD integration, and collaborate with development, DevOps and security teams to deliver measurable improvements in risk posture.

Qualifications

• Deep experience in application security and deployment of DAST across large environments.
• Experience integrating security testing into CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Hands-on with authenticated scanning and policy tuning.
• Knowledge of OWASP WSTG and API security testing.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead and SME for DAST within the DevSecOps ecosystem.
• Evaluate, select, and implement enterprise DAST solutions for web apps and APIs.
• Define scanning standards, methodologies, and CI/CD integration requirements.
• Support engineering teams with DAST onboarding, configuration, and optimisation.
• Review findings and prioritise remediation by risk.
• Establish governance, reporting, metrics and stakeholder engagement.
• Drive remediation with development and security teams.
