Job summary

Specialist Neurodevelopmental Assessment Service in Ireland seeks a Clinical Psychologist to join as lead clinician for ASD assessments, delivering high-quality diagnostic work for children and adolescents with a strong MDT collaboration with OT and SLT.

The role combines clinic-based and remote work, with one day onsite at Balbriggan and four days remote, offering supervision and a focus on assessment-only work within a specialist service.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent qualification in Clinical Psychology.
• PSI Chartership (overseas qualifications validated with Department of Health).
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience.
• Formal ADOS-2 training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver full ASD diagnostic assessments.
• Complete clinical intake and informed consent.
• Conduct ADI-R interviews (virtual delivery).
• Complete ADOS-2 assessments (face to face).
• Carry out cognitive assessments (WISC-V / WAIS).
• Integrate multidisciplinary data into diagnostic formulation.
