Job summary

Dexcom Ireland is seeking an experienced candidate for its Chemistry Lab team. You will analyze and record test results, maintain equipment, and update procedures while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires 4–6 years in a lab environment and a Level 6 diploma. Knowledge of IQ/OQ/PQ validations and raw material testing is essential; opportunities for learning and growth are offered within this global CGM leader.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience.
• Minimum Level 6 diploma/certificate in relevant field.
• Experience in a lab environment with solutions and/or raw material manufacturing processes.
• Experience in raw material and finished goods testing (wet chemistry).
• Strong focus on safety and compliance with quality procedures.
• Knowledge of validation principles and practices (IQ/OQ/PQ).

Responsibilities

• Analyze and record test results and prepare written documentation.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, glassware, and inventory of consumables.
• Update documentation (procedures, protocols & material templates) as needed.
• Perform limited troubleshooting for laboratory equipment.
• Assist with test method validations and support process qualification testing.
• Assume and perform other duties as assigned.

The team makes a variety of lab-scale solutions along with some mid-scale buffers alongside executing a variety of testing which includes pH, conductivity, viscosity, glucose concentration/HPLC. Working with the Chemistry Lab team, you can expect to get cross-trained in each of these areas and also to get exposure to a number of projects relating to the installation of new lab equipment and optimization of the Lab.Front End Day shift :This role is on a 12-hour day shift (7:00am – 7:00pm)Every Monday to Wednesday and alternate ThursdaysFollowing a repeating 4-on/3-off – 3-on/4-off scheduleWhere you come in:You will perform all assigned tasks with appropriate safety requirements.You will analyze and record test results and prepare written documentationYou will maintain laboratory equipment, glassware, and inventory levels of consumable suppliesYou will update documentation (procedures, protocols & material templates) as neededYou will perform limited troubleshooting for laboratory equipmentYou may assist with test method validations and support process qualification testingYou will assume and perform other duties as assignedWhat makes you successful:You have relevant experience in a lab environment; including experience in solutions and/or raw material manufacturing processesExperienced in raw material and finished good testing (wet chemistry)You bring an eye for safety.
