Job description

We are currently recruiting for FULL TIME Stewards/Kitchen Porters within our Stewarding Department. The InterContinental brand looks for charming, confident, sophisticated and internationally-minded people who know what it takes to exceed guest expectations.

The InterContinental Dublin is located in the leafy suburbs of Ballsbridge, within close proximity to the RDS, Aviva Stadium and is on a frequently serviced bus & DART line. Independently owned and operated, our 5* International Luxury hotel is looking for Stewards to join our team.

Requirements

1. Previous experience in a similar role
2. Good command of the English language – Written & Verbal
3. Fully flexible in working day, night & weekend shifts

Main Duties

• Load and unload dishware and flatware from the dishwashing machine and store them properly
• Load and unload pots, pans and kitchen utensils from the potwashing machine and store them properly
• Load and unload glassware from the glasswashing machine and store them properly
• Ensure a clean, neat and organized work area
• Wash all pots, equipment parts, pans, etc.
• Clean kitchen walls, ceilings, floors, drains, reach‑in coolers, walk‑in freezers and other locations as assigned by a supervisor.
