The Riverside Park Hotel & Leisure Club located on the banks of the River Slaney in Co. Wexford has a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a fast-paced team in our Kitchen.

Job Purpose

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. They will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations, ensuring hygiene and health standards are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Assist in the basic preparation of food as required by chefs.
  • Ensure all work surfaces, floors, and storage areas are kept clean and organised.
  • Handle and dispose of kitchen waste and recycling responsibly.
  • Assist with unloading and storing deliveries safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Support the kitchen team with any additional duties as required.
  • Participate in team training sessions and maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety practices.
Requirements
