• Prior experience in a similar role preferred.
• Excellent command of English is necessary.
• High hygiene standards are crucial.

Our Hotel

More than just a hotel. Tulfarris is one of the most picturesque hotels in Wicklow. Our luxurious hotel consists of 90 guest rooms and 3 self-catering lodges with their own unique story and style which provide the perfect setting for weddings and all sorts of special events. The Brassierie and The Fairways Restaurant serve an array of delicious food in a relaxing environment which boasts panoramic views across our golf course, the Blessington Lakes and Wicklow Mountains. All our food is sourced locally from our Irish farmers, cheese mongers and suppliers. We're also causing quite the stir with our fine selection of beers and cocktails! Located just 45 minutes from Dublin City and 25 minutes from the M50, the hotel is easily accessible.

Your New Role

You will have the opportunity to work as part of an award winning and enthusiastic kitchen team. You will demonstrate a positive attitude and flexible approach to work, and have the ability to communicate openly and effectively. You will ideally have prior experience in the same role, an excellent command of the English language and familiar with HACCP. The highest standards of hygiene are crucial to this role.

Duties included in the role are:

• Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible.
• Collect and wash up pots and pans.
• Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery.
• Unload food and equipment deliveries.
• Keep the storeroom organised.
• Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised.

We are recruiting for a Full- Time Kitchen Porter, the nature of our industry means that this role will include a variety of shift & weekend work.
