Job summary

McCabes Pharmacy in Kinvara, Co. Galway, is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician to join our Kinvara store on a permanent, full-time basis. We focus on compassionate patient care and delivering high-quality service as part of PHX Ireland.

You will dispense prescriptions accurately, manage records and assist patients with OTC advice; IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate is essential. We offer an inclusive, supportive environment with development opportunities.

Qualifications

• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Manage prescription records and monthly HSE PCRS claims.
• Offer helpful over-the-counter advice to patients.
• Provide friendly, expert service and build relationships.
• Manage dispensary stock, expiry dates, orders, and keep things running smoothly.
• Show initiative in personal development and team projects.
