Junior Marketing Assistant
Location: Park West, Dublin 12
Salary: €28,000 to €32,000 per year, depending on experience and skills

Overview
Ingenious Media is expanding and seeks a positive, creative and highly organised Junior Marketing Assistant to support the marketing of conferences, exhibitions, awards, publications and wider business activities. You will help create campaign materials, maintain marketing data, update websites and deliver marketing campaigns across several B2B sectors.
Responsibilities
- Create and resize approved advertising graphics for social media, email campaigns, websites and digital advertising using Canva or similar tools.
- Prepare email mailers and campaign templates, checking copy, links, images, formatting, audience details and calls to action before scheduling.
- Update event and company websites using WordPress, including event information, speaker profiles, agendas, exhibitor details, sponsor information, award content and approved news items.
- Write and adapt clear marketing copy for social posts, email campaigns, website pages, speaker and exhibitor features, industry updates and promotional materials.
- Schedule social media content and support daily engagement, monitoring tags, comments, messages and relevant stakeholder activity.
- Support paid campaigns across Meta and Google by preparing creative, checking landing pages, adding tracking links and monitoring campaign performance.
- Create speaker, sponsor, exhibitor, judge and award winner spotlights using approved information, images and brand templates.
- Support association and media partner activity by preparing assets, tracking agreed promotions and following up on required materials.
- Maintain campaign calendars, content trackers, approval records, deadlines and accurate handovers across several events.
- Prepare UTM links and support campaign reporting across email, social media, websites and paid advertising.
- Transfer, clean and reconcile marketing data across spreadsheets, CRM records, mailing platforms and event systems.
- Support photography, short video, interviews, live content and marketing activity at conferences and exhibitions.
- Assist with post event mailers, attendee communications, surveys, reporting files and follow up campaigns.
- Work closely with colleagues across marketing, operations, sales, content and speaker management to ensure approved information and campaign materials are delivered on time.
- Outreach potential associations and media partners via phone & email.
- Contact exhibitors & stakeholders via phone and email to ensure they understand all support the business can offer.
Qualifications
- At least one year of relevant marketing, communications, content or digital experience, or a relevant third level qualification with clear practical aptitude.
- Positive, capable and dependable approach, with genuine enthusiasm for joining and contributing to a growing team.
- Portfolio showing examples of advertising graphics, email or mailer templates and other relevant creative or campaign work (college, internship, freelance, voluntary and paid work can all be included).
- Good working knowledge of Canva or a similar design platform.
- Comfort using WordPress or another content management system to update website information.
- Strong written English, accurate spelling and careful attention to detail.
- Confidence learning and using multiple digital tools and platforms.
- Good organisation and the ability to manage several tasks and deadlines.
- Practical understanding of social media, email marketing and digital advertising.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, lists and data, including transferring and reconciling information accurately.
- Willingness to accept feedback, ask sensible questions and improve quickly.
- Friendly, professional manner and confidence communicating with colleagues and external stakeholders.
Additional Experience (Preferred)
- Experience with HubSpot or another email marketing and CRM platform.
- Experience with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads or campaign reporting tools.
- Experience supporting conferences, exhibitions, awards or other B2B campaigns.
- Experience with basic photography, short video or content editing.
- Experience preparing marketing reports or working with campaign performance data.

Reporting and Working Arrangements
The role reports to the Head of Marketing, Communications & Business Improvement and works closely with colleagues across the wider business. It is primarily based at our Park West office in Dublin 12. Attendance at conferences and exhibitions is required, with occasional early starts, late finishes and travel within Ireland and the UK. Applicants must be able to commute reliably to Dublin 12 or plan to relocate before starting work.
