ALG, a leading Irish law firm, seeks a Junior Legal Applications Engineer to learn and contribute to innovative legal technology solutions. You will work with legal applications experts, lawyers, IT professionals and suppliers to build and maintain internal applications and deliver technology-enabled projects.

You will gain hands-on experience in automation, workflow design, data analysis and low-code/no-code development while contributing to the firm’s legal service delivery journey.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Engineering, Physics, Economics or related analytical field.
• Academic, internship or project experience in automation or data technologies.

Aufgaben

• Assist in the administration, configuration and routine maintenance of legal and AI technology applications.
• Log issues, gather information and support first‑level technical queries.
• Carry out scheduled system checks, updates and maintenance under supervision.
• Maintain records of configuration changes and support activity.
• Escalate issues to senior team members or suppliers.
• Assist in creating reports and dashboards related to application usage and performance.
• Contribute to the design and development of internal applications.
• Support testing activities and prototype development.
• Stay informed about trends in legal tech and share insights with the team.
• Promote adoption of legal tech tools across the firm.
• Develop legal workflows across practice areas.
• Map legal and business processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Prepare materials explaining how tools support delivery.
• Contribute to project activities from planning to delivery.
• Gather requirements and implement updates or enhancements.
• Assist in go‑live activities and documentation.
• Draft user guides and how‑to guides.
• Prepare materials for presentations and training sessions.
• Draft updates and progress notes for stakeholders.
