Junior / Graduate Electrical Design Engineer
Role Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Junior or Graduate Electrical Engineer looking to develop a career in electrical design and panel manufacturing. You will work alongside experienced engineers and receive full training, including EPLAN Pro Panel and ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts and documentation.
- Support senior engineers with design concepts and project deliverables.
- Assist with component selection and panel/control system specifications.
- Collaborate with panel‑building and manufacturing teams.
- Participate in design reviews and ensure drawing/document accuracy.
- Support client liaison activities under supervision.
- Assist with reports, cost estimates and project documentation.
- Take part in structured training (including EPLAN Pro Panel).
- Support testing and commissioning activities when required.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Electrical, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
- Strong interest in electrical design and control systems.
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits/schematics.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
Desirable
- Familiarity with CAD tools such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
- Experience with electrical panels or automation projects (including college work).
- Knowledge of Irish/EU electrical standards.
Training & Development
