Hey, do you love a busy Kitchen? If so we are looking for you, an experienced junior chef/cook for our busy Kitchen. In this role you will be supporting the Head Chef in the day to day running of the Kitchen from HACCP compliance, kitchen cleanliness, wash-up, food ordering, stock taking, meal prep and large scale cooking. If you want all round experience in a fun and vibrant environment we think this could be for you!

Accountabilities

• Food Preparation, cooking and presenting dishes to company and food safety standards
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organisation across all levels all kitchen stations.
• Assist with stock rotation, deliveries and ensuring ingredients are correctly labelled and stored
• Follow all food hygiene, health and safety and allergen control procedures. Haccp 2 essential.
• Show commitment to learning and development by taking direction and feedback from the Head Chef.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and basic dishes according to recipes and specifications.
• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Assist in the preparation of group meals, a la carte bar menu and Breakfast buffet
• Ensure all equipment is clean and maintained to a high standard
• Cleaning down at the end of service and general kitchen duties
• Support in maintaining kitchen records, including HACCP logs on Kitchtech and temperature checks.
• Bring energy, positivity and a culinary vibe to every shift
