Job summary

EDC Engineering seeks a BIM Coordinator to uphold our quality-driven approach. You must have 1+ years in Building Services consultancy and be proficient with 3D modelling tools including REVIT MEP, with BIM experience essential.

You will manage design aspects, deliver clash-free 3D models, and represent EDC in BIM coordination meetings, balancing EMS and sustainability commitments with office-based and work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in BIM or Engineering, Revit training desirable.
• 1+ Years’ experience in an MEP Building Consultancy, producing drawings using 3D Modelling tools.
• Ideally at least 1+ year using REVIT MEP
• BIM experience essential.
• Experience in residential, commercial, educational, healthcare, and industrial projects in Ireland and/or the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the design aspects of projects, as appropriate, to ensure deadlines are met.
• Carry out M&E design work as applicable using REVIT MEP and Navis delivering constructible 3D clash free models for EDC’s clients.
• Attend BIM coordination meetings as required representing EDC as a specialised BIM professional.
• Ensure BIM & CAD standards are upheld.
