Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily joinery workshop operations.
  • Organize production workflow and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Mentor workshop staff and promote best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Sales, Customer Service, Finished Goods Warehouse, Installations, and Logistics, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor production KPIs, address performance gaps, and ensure consistent adherence to quality standards and company policies.
  • Support the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) within the workshop.

Perform Recruitment is looking for an experienced Joinery Production Supervisor to lead and manage daily workshop operations for our client. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader with a strong background in joinery manufacturing and Lean principles. You will play a key role in managing production, mentoring the workshop team, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality output, efficiency, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate day‑to‑day joinery workshop operations, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and cost control.
  • Organize production workflow, allocate resources effectively, and ensure timely delivery of all projects.
  • Mentor, train, and motivate workshop staff, promoting best practices in Lean manufacturing and fostering a high‑performing team.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Sales, Customer Service, Finished Goods Warehouse, Installations, and Logistics, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor production KPIs, address performance gaps, and ensure consistent adherence to quality standards and company policies.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proactive problem‑solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing production priorities.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office; experience with SharePoint or other production management software is advantageous.
