IT Systems Engineer

Job description

Join a dynamic team in Cork as an IT Systems Engineer and play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems and solutions for manufacturing networks. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand operational technology requirements, project objectives and ensure seamless integration of IT/OT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain IT/OT systems and solutions
• Conduct system assessments, troubleshoot, and resolve operational technology issues
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on operational technology best practices and industry standards

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or related field
• Strong knowledge of Cisco Networking, Firewalls (Palo Alto and Cisco), and Windows Server platforms
• Experience with configuration troubleshooting of LAN, WAN, Wireless LAN, and VPN
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VMWare vSphere, and cybersecurity best practices

Certifications:

• CCNP, CCDP, CCNA, VCP
