Job summary

Supermetrics is seeking an IT Platform Lead to join our IT team in Dublin or Helsinki on a hybrid basis. You’ll own API architecture, collaborate on AI integrations and define security standards across the platform.

You’ll work with the product and security teams to ensure scalable, maintainable infrastructure and strong identity controls while guiding teams toward best architectural practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on API architecture experience.
• Experience with LLMs and AI platforms at integration level.
• Proficiency in Python and Go; familiarity with automation tools.
• Security architecture fundamentals: Zero Trust, ZTNA, SSO, IAM.
• Big-picture thinker who can scale and maintain systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the master map of all systems, connections, owners, costs and renewal dates.
• Define architecture standards for Zero Trust, ZTNA, SSO and access controls with Security.
• Collaborate on the integration layer between n8n, SaaS stack and AI agents.
• Proactively steer business teams toward correct architectural solutions.

The infrastructure layer of a modern company looks nothing like it did five years ago.

We're looking for an IT Platform Lead to join our IT team in Helsinki or Dublin (hybrid).

In this role, you will…

• Work at the intersection of architecture, security, and AI, collaborating with Product, Security, and BizOps to define the standards that everything runs on
• Help design the new infrastructure for a world where AI agents are first-class citizens in every workflow, working alongside our Senior IT Systems & Automation Specialist, who builds and operates day-to-day
• Define and maintain the company-wide integration architecture — the standard every team follows when connecting a new tool, agent, or workflow
• Collaborate with Product and Security to define how AI agents authenticate, what systems they can access, and how they are monitored

Your day-to-day work and responsibilities include…

• Maintaining and evolving the master map of every system and application in the company, what it does, what it connects to, who owns it, what it costs, and when it renews
• Partnering with Security to help define architecture standards for Zero Trust, ZTNA, SSO, and identity, and contributing to SOC 2 architecture evidence for access controls, network, and device compliance
• Working with the Systems Specialist on the integration layer between n8n, our SaaS stack, and the AI agents running across the busines
• Stepping in early when a business team is about to solve a problem the wrong way , and collaborating to find the right answer before it becomes a risk

This position is for you if you have…

• 7+ years of experience with strong, hands-on skills in API architecture: REST, webhooks, event-driven patterns, OAuth, SAML
• Experience working with LLMs and AI platforms (Claude, OpenAI, or equivalent) at an integration and architecture level
• Proficiency in Python and Go, and familiarity with n8n, Make, or equivalent automation platforms well enough to define standards and review what's been built
• Security architecture fundamentals: Zero Trust, ZTNA, SSO, IAM, NHI
• A mindset that thinks company-wide rather than team-by-team, brings people along collaboratively, and builds for maintainability and scale, not just today's problem
