Job summary

JOAMERICAN CONSULTANCY LIMITED is seeking a skilled IT Data Analyst to join our team in Maynooth on a full-time, on-site basis. The role focuses on collecting, analyzing, and maintaining business data to support strategic decisions and improve performance.

The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills, experience with Excel/Power BI/Tableau, and a solid understanding of GDPR and data security. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as IT Data Analyst or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database management.
• Experience with Excel, Power BI, Tableau.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to interpret complex datasets and present findings clearly.
• Knowledge of GDPR, data privacy, and information security principles.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze large volumes of data.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision-making.
• Interpret data trends and provide actionable recommendations to management.
• Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and security of company databases.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to identify reporting requirements.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare regular performance reports.
• Support data migration, system implementation, and process improvements.
• Stay updated with data analytics technologies and best practices.
