Greenvolt is seeking a Solar Technical Engineer to support the design, planning, and commissioning of large-scale solar PV projects across Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, and 2-5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector. Responsibilities include developing engineering designs, managing procurement, and ensuring compliance with Irish and EU standards. Qualifications
2–5 years of engineering experience in solar PV or renewable energy projects.
Familiarity with relevant Irish/EU regulations.
Willingness to travel to project sites across Ireland.
Responsibilities
Assist in the development of engineering designs for solar PV systems.
Review and coordinate technical documents.
Support project managers in managing schedules and procurement.
Skills
Experience in solar PV or renewable energy projects
Proficiency with AutoCAD
Strong communication skills
Understanding of solar PV system components
