Greenvolt is seeking a Solar Technical Engineer to support the design, planning, and commissioning of large-scale solar PV projects across Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, and 2-5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector. Responsibilities include developing engineering designs, managing procurement, and ensuring compliance with Irish and EU standards. Qualifications

• 2–5 years of engineering experience in solar PV or renewable energy projects.
• Familiarity with relevant Irish/EU regulations.
• Willingness to travel to project sites across Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of engineering designs for solar PV systems.
• Review and coordinate technical documents.
• Support project managers in managing schedules and procurement.

Skills

Experience in solar PV or renewable energy projects

Proficiency with AutoCAD

Strong communication skills

Understanding of solar PV system components

Education
