Job summary

Abbott Ireland Diabetes Care division based in Donegal Town seeks a Technical Support Investigation Engineer to complete investigations of final test sensor out-of-specifications (OOS) and document findings. You will perform machine, process and material reviews, take microscope images, support database changes in Oracle, and contribute to CAPA and continuous improvement efforts.

• Bachelor’s degree in scientific/engineering field or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in investigations/engineering/manufacturing/QA in a regulated environment.
• Strong problem-solving, root-cause analysis and CI principles.
• Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate Sensor Final Test OOS and document findings per procedures.
• Perform machine, process and material reviews to support investigations.
• Capture images using a microscope for investigations and queries.
• Complete applicable process metrics and support Oracle database status changes.
• Contribute to CAPA activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
