Job summary

Sysco are seeking an Inventory Operative to join Ireland’s largest foodservice provider’s warehouse team. You will process driver paperwork and returns, code and stage products for put away, and enter data into our warehouse management system with accuracy.

Expect flexible starting times across 5/7 days and work in areas with varying temperatures, including dry, cooler and freezer zones. You will perform daily cycle counting, ensure inventory integrity, and handle equipment such as electric

Qualifications

• PC skills with Excel, email and Word; familiar with WMS systems.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Identify product and assess quality per HACCP guidelines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational skills; able to meet tight deadlines.
• Cooperate with co-workers across teams.
• Experience in fast-paced warehouse inventory.
• Experience operating a pallet forklift/electric pallet truck.
• Flexible with regards to hours/shift work.
• Mathematical ability to count, multiply, add, subtract and understand percentages.

Responsibilities

• Verify driver paperwork and returns are signed and properly coded.
• Record driver paperwork errors and inventory discrepancies.
• Check returned products and ensure proper coding and labelling.
• Enter data into the warehouse management system accurately.
• Operate pallet equipment to move goods within the returns area.
• Maintain HACCP compliance and orderly returns area.
• Communicate issues to management promptly.
• Perform daily cycle counts and ensure inventory integrity across zones.
• Follow SSOW and SOPs for safe operations.
