Job summary

Abbott Undergraduate Internship Programme offers students the chance to work on meaningful projects, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to innovations that help people live healthier lives.

As an Abbott intern, you will gain practical experience across areas such as Engineering, Science, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, or other STEM disciplines, with support to learn, grow, and reach your potential across Abbott's Ireland sites.

Qualifications

• Be available for a 6, 9, or 12-month placement aligned with their academic programme.
• Pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in Statistics / Maths.
• On track to achieve, or have achieved, a minimum 2.1 degree classification.
• Bring strong communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrate initiative, curiosity, and a desire to learn.
• Have a passion for innovation, STEM, and healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Support statistics and data analysis projects as part of Abbott internship activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, finance, IT and other areas as needed.
• Learn from experienced professionals and build a broad professional network within Abbott.
