Job summary

Cadence Design Systems in Cork invites talented students to join the Custom IC Products Group as an Intern (CPG). You will support Virtuoso product development, learn RF design analysis and implementation tools, and gain exposure to software development processes, GUI development, and algorithm design.

You will work under the Sr. Principal Software Engineer, contributing to features for marquee customers while developing practical skills in C/C++, Linux, and software engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in CSE or ECE/EE.
• Exposure to Linux/Unix environment.
• Exposure to writing programs in C/C++ or OO languages using tools like gmake/cmake, CLion / Visual Studio.
• Experience with Virtuoso, a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Virtuoso product development features.
• Learn RF design analysis and implementation tools.
• Assist in software debugging and GUI development.
