Job summary

Fenergo is seeking an experienced Program Manager, Compliance to lead the day‑to‑day operations of the regulatory compliance programme within a global SaaS environment. The role includes monitoring regulatory developments, managing controls, and working with Legal, Product, Engineering and Security to close gaps and drive remediation.

The ideal candidate has strong regulatory and data protection knowledge, practical operational experience, and the ability to manage complex priorities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in law, business or a related field; a legal background is advantageous but not required.
• Professional certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CISA are desirable.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, DORA and outsourcing requirements in financial services.
• Operational experience managing regulatory compliance activities end‑to‑end.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating customer contracts involving privacy and regulatory needs.
• Ability to work independently and cross‑functionally with Legal, Product, Engineering & Security.

Program Manager, Compliance (12 Month Fixed-Term Contract)

Location: Hybrid, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland

What does this role entail?

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager, Compliance to join our Trust function. This is a hands‑on, individual contributor role responsible for managing the day-to-day operation and delivery of Fenergo's regulatory compliance programme within a global SaaS environment.

You will manage compliance activities including monitoring and interpreting applicable regulatory requirements and developments, assessing their applicability and impact on Fenergo's technology and control environment, notifying relevant stakeholders of applicable changes, identifying gaps, and working cross-functionally to drive remediation, implementation and ongoing monitoring.

The role also has a strong customer‑facing component, including supporting the review and negotiation of customer contracts, particularly privacy and data protection requirements and ensuring that commitments are aligned with Fenergo's operating model and control environment.

The ideal candidate will combine strong regulatory and data protection knowledge with practical operational experience, sound commercial judgement and the ability to independently manage a complex regulatory compliance programme and its associated priorities.

Please note that this role is a 12 month fixed‑term contract.

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operation and delivery of Fenergo's regulatory compliance programme, including priorities, actions, monitoring and reporting.
• Monitor, identify, analyse, and interpret regulatory requirements and developments, assess their applicability and impact on Fenergo's operations, technology and control environment and notify relevant stakeholders of applicable changes.
• Work cross‑functionally to translate regulatory requirements into practical controls and processes, identify gaps and drive remediation through to completion.
• Support the review and negotiation of customer contracts, particularly privacy, data protection, regulatory and operational requirements, and work directly with customers to agree practical positions aligned with Fenergo's operating model.
• Develop and maintain regulatory compliance guidance, contract playbooks, FAQs and other training materials.
• Support customer due diligence and act as point of contact for regulatory compliance matters during customer audits.
• Maintain programme objectives, metrics and reporting, providing regular updates to senior management.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in law, business or a related field; a legal background is advantageous but not required.
• Relevant professional certifications, such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CISA or equivalent, are desirable.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, DORA and financial services outsourcing requirements, with practical experience applying them.
• Strong operational experience managing regulatory compliance activities, including regulatory monitoring, impact assessment, control implementation, gap remediation, evidence management and ongoing monitoring.
• Experience supporting the review and negotiation of customer contracts involving privacy, regulatory and operational requirements.
• Proven ability to operate independently and work cross‑functionally with Legal, Product, Engineering, Security and other business teams.
• Strong analytical and commercial judgement, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a cloud‑native SaaS environment and an understanding of cloud shared‑responsibility models.
• Experience working with financial services customers and their regulatory, outsourcing and contractual requirements.
• Hands‑on experience with compliance and GRC platforms.
