Qualifications

• Proven extensive experience working in a Social Care setting.
• Willingness to develop professional skills as identified through supervision.
• Own car and a full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Work with users of mental health services with housing support needs.
• Visit individuals in their local community and where appropriate in their own home.
• Be responsible for the agreed package of support to a number of individuals.

Skills

Very good understanding of Child Protection and Welfare responsibilities

Ability to deal with challenging behaviour

Advocacy on behalf of similar client group

Education

Degree in Social Care (e.g. Youth Work, Social Studies, Psychology, Addiction)
