Job summary

Manpower - Ireland is seeking a skilled Tooling Technician to join our busy manufacturing client, supporting high-volume injection moulding operations. The role focuses on maintaining, repairing and improving tooling to ensure efficient production and high-quality outputs.

The ideal candidate has tooling or trade experience, with knowledge of mills, lathes and surface grinders, and a proven ability to troubleshoot with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills. GMP experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Tooling experience or trade experience required.
• GMP or regulated manufacturing experience desirable.
• Knowledge of tooling processes, maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and troubleshoot high-precision injection moulds.
• Support tool trials, validations, builds and tool change activities.
• Manage mould specifications, records and preventative maintenance activities.
• Work with Production and Engineering teams to resolve tooling issues.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety and operational procedures.
