Zusammenfassung

Athlone Laboratories Ltd is seeking a Site Electrician to maintain electrical systems across production, packaging, laboratory, and utilities in a GMP environment. You will perform preventive, corrective and project work while ensuring ALCOA+ data integrity and compliance.

The role covers installation, qualification support, and coordination of contractors, with focus on reliability and energy efficiency on an HPRA-regulated site.

Qualifikationen

• Essential QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate – Craft Electrical (completed apprenticeship).
• Instrumentation or automation qualification; HNC/HND in electrical engineering (Desirable).
• 3+ years as a qualified electrician in industrial/manufacturing (Essential).
• Experience in pharma/medical device/food GMP environments (Desirable).
• IS 10101 knowledge; ATEX/CompEx (Desirable).
• Fault-finding on motors, drives and control circuits (Essential).
• CMMS/SAP experience (Desirable).

Aufgaben

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance on electrical, control and instrumentation systems to schedule.
• Respond to breakdowns, fault-finding and restore equipment quickly to minimise downtime.
• Maintain LV distribution boards, MCCs, motors, VFDs, PLC panels, lighting and alarms.
• Support utilities (HVAC, compressed air, water systems, boilers and generators).
• Install, modify and commission electrical equipment for site projects and lines.
• Supervise electrical contractors on site and manage permits and checks.
