Job summary

Veolia Group in Blanchardstown seeks a Refrigeration Technician to provide high-quality service, maintenance, and technical support for HVAC systems. You will diagnose faults, carry out corrective actions, and recommend refurbishments to improve energy performance and reliability.

The role requires a strong refrigeration background, a minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience with HVAC/building services, and a trade qualification.

Qualifications

• Relevant refrigeration qualification (e.g., F-Gas Category 1 or equivalent).
• Strong technical background in commercial or industrial cooling systems.
• Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience with HVAC or mechanical building services.
• Solid understanding of HVAC engineering, including air handling, ventilation, dehumidification, heat transfer, and system controls.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control-related faults.
• Experience with Industrial refrigeration systems such as stand alone Fridge / Freezers, Incubators, Stability Chambers, and blast freezers.
• Experience in ATEX areas (desirable).
• Experience in API pharmaceutical industry (desirable).
• Experience with Ammonia refrigeration systems (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality service, maintenance, and technical support for HVAC systems.
• Diagnose faults and perform corrective actions to restore performance and efficiency.
• Recommend replacement parts, upgrades, and refurbishment solutions.
• Maintain, repair, and commission HVAC and Refrigeration equipment.
• Ensure assets operate in line with contract specifications.
