Job summary

IKO Industries Ltd. is seeking a production/factory associate to join our heavy-industrial manufacturing team. You will operate manufacturing equipment, perform quality checks, document production data, and help maintain a safe, efficient workplace on rotating 12-hour shifts.

The role requires forklift experience, attention to detail, good manual dexterity, and fluent English. Candidates should be comfortable in dusty environments and willing to work weekends/holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy-industrial manufacturing, construction, or similar industry preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of counter-balance forklift operating experience (Recommended).
• Comfortable with working in a dusty environment.
• Willing to work 12 hour rotating shifts, weekends and holidays when necessary.
• Manual dexterity.
• Attention to detail.
• Fluent in verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety policies, programs, procedures.
• Complete health & safety pre-start checklists.
• Ensure product being produced meets established quality specifications.
• Document quality checks at regular intervals.
• Operate manufacturing equipment in accordance with established operating procedures.
• Operate counterbalance, propane-powered forklift.
• Document production numbers, items contributing to down-time (using PRODAC system and hand-written reports).
• General housekeeping duties.
• Additional duties as assigned by Supervisory staff
