Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is seeking an experienced Industrial Plumber for a large-scale project in Limerick. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and testing of plumbing and pipework systems as part of a multidisciplinary site team.

This role suits a qualified plumber with experience in industrial, pharmaceutical, manufacturing or large-scale construction projects. The company offers competitive rates, career progression and ongoing training in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have a trade background in Mechanical services.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in large scale industrial, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences or Data Center projects.
• Will have a current and up to date safe pass, manual handling, working at heights.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair industrial plumbing and pipework systems.
• Install hot and cold-water services, drainage systems and associated pipework.
• Work with a range of piping materials and systems in accordance with project specifications.
• Install valves, pumps, fixtures, supports and associated equipment.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics and technical specifications.
• Measure, cut, fit and assemble pipework accurately.
• Carry out pressure testing, flushing and system checks as required.
• Identify and resolve installation issues in conjunction with supervisors and the wider project team.
• Ensure installations are completed to the required quality standards and project specifications.
• Coordinate with other trades to ensure works are completed efficiently and safely.
• Complete works in line with project programmes and supervisor instructions.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Comply with all site health, safety and environmental requirements, including permit-to-work procedures where applicable.
• Report defects, hazards or quality concerns to the relevant supervisor.
