Job summary

Aureol Global Connections in Ireland is hiring electricians on behalf of J. Grennan & Sons Unlimited Company at Rath, Birr, Offaly. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing faults in feed mill machinery to keep production safe and efficient.

You will perform planned maintenance on motors, conveyors, augers, and pellet presses, install and test new equipment, and collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime. Experience in industrial settings preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with industrial/manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and coordinate with production teams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on feed mill machinery.
• Carry out planned maintenance on motors, conveyors, augers, buckets, mixers, pellet presses, and other equipment.
• Install, test and commission new electrical equipment; work with three-phase motors and VSDs.
• Assist with PLC fault finding as required; read electrical schematics and ensure safety compliance.
• Minimise downtime by collaborating with production teams and maintaining plant reliability.
