Job summary

Digital Manufacturing Ireland is seeking a Computer Vision Engineer, Manufacturing and AI to develop and deploy CV/AI solutions for real-world manufacturing applications. You will work on image processing, deep learning, and video analytics, taking concepts to proofs-of-concept and deployment.

You will collaborate with clients and manufacturing teams to understand challenges, demonstrate technologies, and communicate technical concepts clearly, delivering demonstrations and training as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree or Master's in a technical discipline with strong computer vision background.
• Proven experience in computer vision, AI, ML or image processing.
• Experience working with manufacturing or industrial environments is a plus.
• Ability to translate manufacturing problems into practical CV/AI solutions.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Scope, develop and deliver CV/AI projects for manufacturing challenges.
• Work directly with clients and teams to understand processes and data.
• Develop rapid proofs-of-concept using image/video data.
• Train, evaluate and optimise CV/AI models.
• Deploy solutions on industrial PCs and edge devices.
• Deliver demonstrations, workshops and training to clients.
