Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a highly motivated Senior Consultant to work within the Services team on incident response engagements for leading organizations worldwide. You will operate as part of a technical team, develop new hunting methods, and conduct intrusion investigations across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.

The role requires deep IR, forensic and network analysis skills, with strong communication to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting or managing incident response investigations for organisations.
• Background using forensic analysis tools in incident response investigations to determine the extent and scope of compromise.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, network analysis tools, and ability to perform analysis of related network logs.
• Ability to understand the capabilities of static and dynamic malware analysis.
• Strong understanding of targeted attacks and able to support creating customized remediation plans for compromised organizations.
• Understanding of secure network architecture and background in performing network operations.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP incident response methodologies.
• Strong ability to communicate executive and/or detailed level findings to clients; effective at guiding internal teams

What You'll Do:

What You'll Need:

Successful candidates will have knowledge of or experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Incident Response: experience conducting or managing incident response investigations for organisations, investigating targeted threats such as the Nation-State, E-Crime, and Hacktivists.

• Computer Forensic Analysis: a background using forensic analysis tools in incident response investigations to determine the extent and scope of compromise.

• Network Forensic Analysis: strong knowledge of network protocols, network analysis tools like Bro/Zeek or Suricata, and ability to perform analysis of associated network logs.

• Reverse Engineering: ability to understand the capabilities of static and dynamic malware analysis.

• Incident Remediation: strong understanding of targeted attacks and able to support creating customized tactical and strategic remediation plans for compromised organizations.

• Network Operations and Architecture/Engineering: understanding of secure network architecture and strong background in performing network operations.

• Cloud Incident Response: knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP incident response methodologies.

• Communications: strong ability to communicate executive and/or detailed level findings to clients; ability to effectively communicate tasks, guidance, and methodology with internal teams

• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.

Additionally, all candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Capable of completing technical tasks with limited supervision.

• Desire to grow and expand both technical and soft skills.

• Ability to foster a positive work environment and attitude.

Education:

We are seeking candidates with the right combination of training and skills to join our team. Experience, drive, and results are key and advanced degrees are not required. Successful candidates coming from an academic background will likely have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, Information Security, Information Assurance, Information Security Management, Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Policy, or a related discipline.

Applicants without a degree but with relevant work experience and/or training will be considered, and should apply their previous experience to the qualification areas above.
