Job summary

Apleona UK is seeking a Domiciliary Carer to be based in Newbridge, Co. Kildare. The role involves supporting clients with personal care, meal preparation, and mobility assistance, while maintaining dignity and independence.

You will work Monday to Sunday, 36 hours per week, on a fixed-term illness cover contract. Responsibilities include monitoring health, assisting with medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care in a private home setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and reporting patients’ health needs and contributing to the development of care plans.
• Supporting administration of medications and treatments as prescribed; providing emotional support.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Communicating effectively with physicians, nurses, and support staff.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documenting interventions.
