Job summary

Susquehanna is seeking a Research Analyst to partner with senior analysts and traders to identify investment opportunities in equity or options markets. You will provide real-time opinions on breaking news and conduct in-depth analysis to uncover unique opportunities.

The role is embedded in a strategy-focused trading desk, combining quantitative finance with creative problem-solving to develop trade ideas in a fast-paced, proprietary trading environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1 year of experience required.
• CFA or CFA candidate preferred.
• Strong written, analytical and financial research skills.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with fundamental company research and event-driven analysis is an advantage.
• Familiarity with trading environments and derivative products is preferred.
• Self-starter with quick learning ability and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and track mergers, acquisitions and other corporate actions.
• Identify and analyse upcoming events.
• Provide real-time opinions on breaking news.
• Collaborate with traders on investment ideas.
• Attend company events and conferences as required.
• Perform stock valuation analysis.
