Job summary

Richard Stanley & Sons Haulage Limited in Thurles, Co. Tipperary, is seeking experienced HGV Drivers for immediate start. The role requires 1–3 years of HGV driving experience and a CE or C1E licence under mutual recognition.

The job includes loading/unloading, on-time deliveries, and daily vehicle checks. Working hours amount to about 39 per week, with annual remuneration of €36,605. Candidates will perform duties across urban and rural routes while adhering to EU and Irish transport

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ of previous experience as a HGV Driver is required.
• Equivalent CE or C1E driving licence identified through mutual recognition between authorities.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGVs, including loading and unloading cargo.
• Deliver goods to specified locations on time and in good condition.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness.
• Comply with driving regulations, EU and Irish transport laws, tachograph rules, and drivers hours.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logbooks.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers and team members to resolve delivery issues.
• Follow safety protocols for transporting hazardous materials where applicable.
