Job summary

Workday in Ireland is seeking a Mid-Level IAM Engineer to join our Enterprise Identity team. You will configure, maintain and optimize identity tools, ensuring secure access for employees and systems across cloud environments.

Responsibilities include system integration with IdP and SaaS apps, automated lifecycle workflows, LDAP/Ory Hydra management, and documenting security architecture. A Bach/BSc in CS or related field is expected, with 2+ years IAM experience.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3–5 years in IT or Security with 2+ years in IAM
• Identity Platforms: Okta, Entra ID, LDAP, Active Directory, Ory Hydra
• Protocols: SAML, OAuth, OIDC, REST APIs
• Scripting: GoLang or Python for API integration
• Soft Skills: ability to explain complex access issues to non-technical stakeholders
• Certifications: Security+, Okta Certified Administrator, or Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate plus AWS Cloud Practitioner
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in CS, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• System Integration: Connect IdP to SaaS apps and internal systems
• Lifecycle Management: Automate joiner/mover/leaver workflows
• Operational Support: First point of contact for IAM issues; manage vulnerability updates
• Directory Management: Administer LDAP, Ory Hydra, HR identity feeds
• Process Automation: Write scripts to automate routine tasks
• Documentation: Create SOPs, diagrams, and docs for IAM ecosystem
