Job summary

F5 Networks is seeking an IAM Operations Engineer to manage identity workflows, automate provisioning, and support secure access across complex environments. You will work with IdP systems (Okta, Entra ID) and collaborate with global teams to improve efficiency and security.

You’ll write scripts for automation, maintain pipelines, and participate in on-call rotations. The role requires strong writing skills and experience with Jira & ServiceNow for ticket handling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT is required.
• 4+ years of relevant IAM experience is preferred.
• Experience managing IAM workflows incl. provisioning, deprovisioning, and auditing RBAC.

Responsibilities

• IAM Operations: Manage IAM workflows and identity-related escalations.
• Ticket Management: Resolve IAM tickets via Jira and ServiceNow, meeting SLAs.
• Automation: Write scripts in Python, Bash, PowerShell to automate provisioning and compliance tasks.
• Build and enhance automation pipelines with IAM and engineering teams.
• Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for IAM workflows and pipelines.
• IdP migrations & consolidation: Okta and Entra ID integration for mergers & acquisitions.
• Monitoring & alerting: Use Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk to track IAM health.
• On-call support: Participate in rotations to resolve outages.
