Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is hiring a Cleaning Operative to join our facilities team in the local area. You will perform cleaning duties across entrances, yards, and common areas, with emphasis on hygiene and presentation.

Excellent communication in English and flexibility are essential. Full training provided, including MH, RAMS, and safety procedures. We offer an equal opportunities environment and a range of benefits as listed in the company information.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, litter pick entrances and service yards.
• Empty and replace bin liners at entrances and service yards.
• Damp wipe bins at entrances.
• Clean and disinfect picnic benches.
• Clean up spillages in entrances, corridors and yards.
• Remove chewing gum and weeds at entrances.
• Clean gents' toilets and replenish stock.
• Report defects to manager or supervisor.
• Clear corridors fixtures, fittings, cages, trolleys, pallets.
• Replace full waste/recycling bins and sweep underneath.
• During wet weather assist dry mopping of corridors and multistorey.

Key Responsibilities

• Pull out full waste/recycling bins and replace with empty bins and sweep underneath
• During wet weather support needed dry mopping of corridors and multistorey.
