Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking cleaners to join our facilities team. The role covers sweeping, bin management, damp wiping, and sanitising entrances and service yards, with responsibilities to report defects and maintain hygiene across corridors and toilets.

We offer full training (MH, RAMS, Impact), a competitive salary, and 21–26 days of annual leave as you gain service. Living locally is a plus and the role supports ongoing development.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Sweeping, litter picking Entrances & service yards
  • Emptying bins and replacing bin liners at entrances & service yards
  • Damp wiping bins at entrances
  • Cleaning & disinfecting picnic benches
  • Cleaning up spillages at Entrances & corridors & service yards
  • Remove chewing gum/ weeds at entrances
  • Cleaning gents' toilets and replenishing stock (signing toilet check list)
  • Report defects to manager or supervisor
  • Clearing corridors fixtures & fittings, cages, trollies, pallets - filling out corridor sheets
  • Pull out full waste/recycling bins and replace with empty bins and sweep underneath
  • During wet weather support needed dry mopping of corridors and multistorey.
