Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a water engineering professional to support Ireland/UK water projects. You will coordinate technically complex assignments, apply InfoWorks ICM modelling, and develop catchment solutions while ensuring compliance with standards.

You will contribute to project delivery, support tender responses, and mentor staff as part of a large, collaborative team working across hybrid and international remote environments.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Ireland and UK water regulatory issues.
• Proven ability to coordinate and deliver technically excellent projects.
• Experience with hydraulic modelling and catchment planning.
• Ability to work independently and drive continuous improvement in client deliverables.

Your role

• Understanding of Ireland and UK Water Industry and regulatory issues.
• Proven track record in coordinating and delivering technically excellent projects.
• Expertise using InfoWorks ICM and ICM Exchange.
• Experience in hydraulic modelling, catchment planning and solution development.
• Ability to undertake work independently/check the work of others to provide quality assurance, and drive continuous improvement in work delivered to the client.

About you

• Supporting with leading Storm Overflows Discharge Reduction Plan, flood alleviation and environmental solution development projects.
• Supporting the development and delivery of wastewater catchment strategies and solutions.
• Responsible for the quality of outputs and compliance with standards & specifications.
• Ability to manage and/or support project managers, to manage projects and programmes of works.
• Support in the development of tender responses and fee estimates.
• Supervising and developing staff and providing guidance to support their professional development.
• Contributing towards technical innovation.
