Job summary

Irish Life, through its AI Acceleration Hub, seeks a Senior Manager to lead the technical Responsible AI framework. You will drive governance-aligned controls, tooling patterns, and delivery practices across AI initiatives and ensure safe, scalable production of AI solutions.

You will guide delivery squads, collaborate with risk, compliance and architecture teams, and grow a small specialist team to support multiple AI squads while enhancing operational resilience and transparency.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in AI, data, technology delivery and architecture.
• Translate governance expectations into technical controls and patterns.
• Strong stakeholder management and senior-leader communication.
• Experience shaping AI evaluation, testing and risk mitigation.
• Ability to build and lead a specialist Responsible AI team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical Responsible AI framework and evolve controls.
• Design and scale shared Responsible AI capabilities.
• Embed Responsible AI into the AI lifecycle from design to production.
• Define platform direction and tooling for Responsible AI.
• Support AI squads and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Partner with governance, risk, compliance, security to align expectations.
• Build and measure technical maturity of Responsible AI capabilities.
