Hybrid Product Manager – Clinical Decision Support

Job summary

Optum, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Product Manager for its Clinical Decision Support (CDS) Applications & Platform portfolio. You will partner with engineering, regulatory, clinical, and business teams to deliver healthcare technology that improves quality and patient outcomes.

You will maintain backlogs, prioritize features, and support Agile delivery across multiple CDS products in a hybrid Dublin/Letterkenny setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Business, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• Proven solid experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or Technical Product Management for SaMD or medical software
• Experience as Product Owner and/or Scrum Master in Agile environments
• Experience authoring and managing product requirements within QMS and regulatory standards (ISO 13485)
• Experience managing Jira boards, backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint activities
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and cross-team coordination
• Ability to balance strategic objectives with tactical delivery across multiple products
• Excellent analytical, prioritization, facilitation, written communication, and stakeholder managementSkills
• Proven collaboration with distributed teams

Responsibilities

• Support development of product strategy and roadmaps across CDS products
• Maintain alignment between Jira backlogs and strategic roadmaps (Aha!)
• Translate customer needs and regulatory requirements into product priorities
• Contribute to release planning and lifecycle decisions
• Use feedback and metrics to recommend portfolio improvements
• Communicate direction, priorities, risks, and decisions to stakeholders
