Job summary

Cregg Recruitment client in Galway is seeking a Manufacturing (Equipment) Engineer to join their team on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on leading equipment/process validation, lean improvements and delivering cost-quality targets within a highly regulated medical device environment.

Applicants should have NFQ Level 8 in a technical discipline and 2–5 years as an engineer in manufacturing, with experience in IQ/OQ/PQ, CAPA and NPI processes.

Qualifications

• NFQ Level 8 in a technical discipline is required.
• 2–5 years’ experience at an engineering level, ideally in medical device or highly regulated environments.
• Experience with process and equipment validations IQ/OQ/PQ is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical improvement under VIP program and drive process improvements across quality, service and cost.
• Liaise with quality and engineering internally and externally within the corporation.
• Support phase reviews, NPE meetings and capital planning for capacity.
• Provide leadership on Lean initiatives and develop documentation compliant with GMP.
• Manage projects related to major transfers and ensure environmental considerations are addressed.
