Job summary

Rockwell Engineering is seeking experienced Sheet Metal Workers for permanent, full-time roles in Co. Cork.

You will install and maintain duct systems on large pharmaceutical and industrial projects, working with sheet metal, galvanised steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Applicants should have at least two years of duct installation experience, possess Safe Pass and IPAF certifications, and be able to read technical drawings.

Qualifications

Minimum of two years of experience in duct installation, HVAC, or related field.
Working knowledge of hand and power tools, and safety equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and repair duct systems.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and effectively prioritise workload.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
Safe Pass, Manual Handling and IPAF certifications are required.
Ability to work in a variety of environments including heights, confined spaces, and varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for installing and maintaining duct systems and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
Work with sheet steel, galvanised steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
Read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.
Plan installation sequence to avoid obstructions and coordinate with other trades.
Fabricate and install unistrut brackets and threaded rod hangers.
Work with a variety of mechanical tools and equipment.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
