Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Dublin is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for a 12-month contract to manage planning and development of high-voltage projects. The role involves civil engineering design, coordination with stakeholders and mentoring junior engineers. The ideal candidate must have over 5 years of experience in civil engineering, excellent communication skills, and hold a Level 8 engineering degree.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' civil engineering or planning-stage design experience.
• Strong technical design background and excellent communication skills.
• Proven success delivering complex or large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Produce planning-stage civil engineering designs for HV substation projects.
• Coordinate specialist inputs (hydrology, ecology, geotechnical, etc.).
• Act as Lead Engineer-managing design inputs, stakeholders, fees, and schedules.
