Job summary

PE Global is recruiting a QC Lab Technician for a leading multi-national Pharma client based in Westport, Ireland. This is a contract position.

The role involves performing chemistry analyses of in-process and final products, including stability samples, while adhering to regulatory requirements and GMP. You will document results, use LIMS and Empower, and review data to ensure quality. Collaborative work with QA and lab management is essential, with monthly shift rotations.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in a science discipline, preferably chemistry.
• 1–2 years’ experience working as an analyst in a GMP/GLP environment.
• 1–2 years’ experience with analytical equipment (HPLC and GC) and other lab techniques.
• Experience and good knowledge of Empower.
• Good knowledge and understanding of data integrity from a laboratory perspective.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemistry analysis of in-process and final product as per schedule and regulatory requirements.
• Document testing activities, results and raw data on time, accurately and legibly.
• Use of laboratory IT systems including LIMS and Empower.
• Review and interpret test results.
• Adhere to safety, housekeeping and quality standards and notify management of discrepancies.
• Ensure good housekeeping and good laboratory practices.
• Rotate shifts monthly.
• Collaborate with team, Supervisors, Quality Manager and Laboratory Manager to ensure QMS compliance.
