Job summary

Moorehall Lodge Drogheda is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join our team in Drogheda, Co. Louth. The role covers daily cleaning of residents rooms and en-suite bathrooms, while engaging with residents in a friendly, respectful manner.

The position supports our person-centered Household Model of Care and requires flexibility for weekdays and weekends. We offer excellent rates of pay, an Employee Assistance Programme, and a range of staff benefits.

Responsibilities

• Engage in friendly conversation with residents while cleaning their room
• Ensuring residents rooms and en-suite bathrooms are clean and tidy on a daily basis
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
• Report any damage or deficits to equipment
• Deal with resident and family feedback with professionalism and patience and report as appropriate
• Check stock levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
